Instruments for dental implants

Dental implant instruments are used during a variety of endosteal and subperiosteal implantation procedures, as well as in rebuilding the bone of the jawline, including bone augmentation, sinus lift, and back extension. Dental implant surgical instruments make it possible to perform these procedures.

Types of dental implant tools

Our various dental implant tools range from sinus lift instruments to osteotomes, and they are all designed to help you place implants correctly. All Sordent implant instruments are autoclavable. In addition, our sinus lift instruments are available with ergonomic handles to enhance user comfort.

Use dental implant tools to prepare sites for an implant. Our tools are made of stainless steel for long life and durability. Double-sided, pointed sickle-like ends give you extreme comfort and increased efficiency. When you use different implant tools together, such as hammers and chisels, you can do everything from splitting to reshaping or removing teeth or bones.

• Implant calipers: measure bones, teeth, and spaces between the teeth.
• Sinus Lift Instruments: Elevate the Schneider's diaphragm during sinus lift procedures to prepare the area for the implant.
• Implant probes: measure depth specific to implantology.
• Periotomes: Cut periodontal ligaments from the tooth to perform atraumatic extraction.
• Pluggers: Create better stability for implants by condensing bone during bone grafting.
• Mallets: split, shape or remove teeth or bones in combination with a chisel.
• Curettes: Lift and raise the Schneider membrane to prepare the area for an implant, also perform scraping.
• Lifts: Also lifts or moves the Schneider membrane during sinus lifts.
