Surgical root elevators, also known as root elevators, come in all shapes and sizes and are instruments that can be used in both medical and dental fields for extractions. A root elevator can be used to remove roots, splinters, and unwanted objects. This is desirable, for example, to loosen the tooth before using forceps.
