What is a bone file?

Bone files, also known as bone rasps, play an important role in surgical procedures where bone needs to be shaped. These instruments are used to remove small pieces of bone in narrow, exposed areas. Bone files have a rounded finish, which allows them to be easily maneuvered between soft tissues without causing damage. This design offers an efficient way to smooth bone surfaces and scrape away excess bone material.
