Laboratory crown instruments

Laboratory crown instruments for removing dentures

Crown removers are instruments used to remove artificial crowns or fixed dentures from the oral cavity. The crown removers work like pneumatic hammers. They have various types of heads that can be placed between the gingiva and the artificial teeth to be removed, after which the crown remover is used to create pressure in the coil of the instrument, which is released when the button on top of the instrument is pressed, for some designs of crown removers, or the hand weight alone is used to slide the tip down the shaft that is given through the barrel around the head segment. The crown remover is a forceps with a soft pad on each jaw to create a gentle but strong grip on the dental crowns and remove them without breaking or scratching the surface.

Sordent offers various Laboratory Crown Instruments for your dental practice. There are several dental instruments and dental tools available for placing, removing, and cutting the crown. There is also a distinction between instruments suitable for the upper jaw and lower jaw.
